320 (or other 3xx PAM) + Rolex Pic request

could someone PLEASE post a pic of a 320 or other 3XX PAM with a SUB or a SEA DWELLER? I need to see the size as it compares, as I have a small wrist.

gosh it is pretty large, maybe too big for my wrist since it seems bigger than the dssd

44mm and 1950 case is monstrous on small wrists. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and had the hardest time getting past the size at first. I just bit the bullet earlier this year and it's grown on me ever since. The 312 is a new one for me and I feel like 44mm is now the perfect size! It's a matter of personal preference.

is a 42mm radiomir and option instead and what would you recc for a GMT?

jvo300 31 December 2009 12:21 PM

This is just my opinion, but Ive read it many times before from others when I was researching my first PAM purchase ... I would not recommend getting anything below 44mm as the size will grow on you and you will likely upgrade to the larger size if you start small. The size is one of the hallmarks of this watch line.

Having said that I will admit that this is not an everyday watch for me. I find it impractical as a dressy watch for work because I have small wrists and do not want to have shirts custom made just so I can drag around the brick on my wrist. It is a spectacular casual watch though!! I'm sure others will jump in with opinions/pictures of PAMs and suits to give you another perspective.

the 1950 case wears nicely on my 6.6" wrist...it will grow on ya...
and with the brand..yes...44mm is a hallmark and iconic...

you really gotta try one on...I looked at TONS of wrist shots..but had to try it on to see

A 44mm PAM will wear MUCH bigger than a 39.5mm Rolex Sub or SD. My 312 wears much bigger than the other two 44mm diver watches I own. Big is good in this case. They are supposed to wear big. I think a large PAM looks perfectly at home on a small wrist, as there is no pretense of it being anything other than a large, noticeable watch. PAMs look big even on big wrists.

The are big, but wear flat and comfy. When you are used to PAM,anything else never feels quite right again.

x2 I agree, whilst the PAM wears big due to the fact that it has a relatively small and simple bezel the aesthetic effect is that it looks balanced. If it had a contrasting coloured bezel with numbers on it then it would probably look significantly larger.

I was worried about the size and my first try on almost turned me away as it felt significantly big on my 7" wrist. When I tried it on for a second time it felt much more normal and now I just love it. I pretty much have my PAM for "home" days and my sub LV for "work" days.

Rads tend to be either 45 or 47mm. The 244 is a 40mm Luminor GMT (similar design to the 44mm 88)
