PAM 243 Straps

Hey guys I am awaiting the arrival of my 243, and wanted to get some feedback/advice on straps. What size do I order for this watch? I have never bought a strap in the secondary market before. Additionally, what straps do you guys recommend! Thanks, JPS

Here's some 243 lovin' for you. It's sittin' on a luscious Kevin AMMO. I know I sure miss it.....

Wow thats beautiful.....do you have a link/sizing info for me? I am really a NOOB at this!

It all depends on your wrist size and how much tail you prefer. Moreover, the strap maker and their straps all truly fit differently. I have 7" wrists and have found that a 145/85 Kevin AMMO strap just fits me best. :smokin:

There are many good strap makers out there and I'm confident you'll get some responses from others...

Check some out and you'll figure out what you like!

For a rugged sub like that I'd go with an Ammo like Bryan said.

The best, no doubt is a BigB/Kev straps. My next strap will be from them for sure!

I also like Rob Montana's. I own three custom pieces from him. Well worth it.

Two I had Rob make.

You must try a Greg Stevens Designs (GSD) Crazy Horse II. My favorite! Loved it so much I ordered a matching belt. But, after spending some time with a 243 (sold it and miss it!), I can say that the rubber strap it comes with is the best strap of all. I bought one and wear it on all of my Pams. Best of luck!

Good point. I don't own one, but I have seen the Crazy Horse II on a PVD 005. It was the PERFECT strap for that watch for sure. I'm sure it would look good on a non-pvd'ed watch as well.

For a sub, I would go with a thicker strap that either has or can take some abuse and have a nice, rugged finish. For example, here's some quick phone pics of a client's 087 I color matched and gave a vintage look strap to as well as a custom bund designed to match the look of the watch head.

My favorite strap for the 243 is the rubber strap that comes with it.
My second choice would be the Ted Su dive strap.
Check out Mike's pictures of his on a PAM 024.
The Ted Su strap is 24/24 and a perfect fit for your 243.
