Man, that's like a fat lil midget!

1000M, that thing is fat!

(No offense to the little people)

Goldsplinter 20 January 2007 12:22 PM

Even has a Cyclops unlike the SD. Weird looking Cyclops that is, looks very blurry from the sides, looks like you have to have it at a small location to see it perfectly clear.

Prince 20 January 2007 12:22 PM

Nice one, Daren!

As in the television show "Dinosaurs", it's "Not da Blue Sub"... :chuckle: :chuckle:

"I'm da baby! Gotta love me!!!"

Goldsplinter 20 January 2007 12:23 PM

Theres something about it that I like. Must be the plumpness of it and how the strap look so small on it... heehee

The cyclops is on the under side of the crystal. Works the same as the Rolex one

Don't know if I still have VHSes of them. I remember being in bed sipping on cold Milk with Pink Neqsuik nice and cold, in my nice cold-feeling comforting bed, with my body wrapped in the sheets, watching it on the tv. Like at 3 years old.

Man I love that little baby's voice. HAHAHA lol.

amanda 20 January 2007 12:56 PM

Groovy dman!!! The blue is dabomb!! Wear it in excellent health!

JJ Irani 20 January 2007 01:04 PM

Congrats, Daren. You know I love BLUE...anything in BLUE!! :chuckle:

Wear it in good health, pal. Sorry to see the LV go...but whatever floats your boat!!

Cheers - JJ

I love the Pam 87. Was it very hard to find? That particular series was discontinued in 2005, I think. I got Panerai fever! Got the 88 a few months ago and want an 87, 243 or 252.

Congrats. Wear it in good health.

sevoguy 20 January 2007 01:56 PM

Daren, very impressive!

mike 20 January 2007 01:57 PM

Sweet Daren! That's a beauty. Got a blue strap for it? Bet that would look sharp!!

Mike, like a true Paneristi, I bought the strap first, LOL!! Pics sometime, this hotel living is not real conducive to wanting to take watch pics. :dummy:

Just had to do a little poking and prodding, nothing is too hard. :chuckle:

I really like this one alot, I have owned 24's and 25's in the past, but this baby is beefy and thick!!

88 still is my favorite, but this one will see its share of wrist time.

How did you know I was thinking 25 again:rofl:
Feeling much better now thanks.

miner 20 January 2007 05:12 PM

Serious piece of hardware

Might look short and fat but its a 44mm case so it's big and stout!!

Southern Jessie 20 January 2007 06:00 PM

Beautiful watch, Daren - one of my absolute Vendome favourites! Looks great on you, buddy!

Agree but IMO the Panerai way looks and performs better, great dial
Darren, and one tough looking watch.

Spark 20 January 2007 07:22 PM

That is possibly the nicest Pam sub I've seen.
Well done Darren.
You Paneria guy's and Amanda have corrupted me and I am now considering going for a Paneria myself.
The only thing is I really don't like the sub seconds hand I think it cheapens the look of the watch in pics posted here.
Is this the case in the flesh??
Cheers,

Spark.

mamas 20 January 2007 07:26 PM

i think you have a winner here darren:thumbsup:

You have to see a Pam in real life. No picture does it justice. The second hand looks a bit naff in the pics but it is actually quite inconspicuous on the large dial. You could also look at the base models (000 or 112) which don't have the second hand.
There's a few ad's in London, maybe its time for a trip

mailman 20 January 2007 08:22 PM

Man that's a big a** watch but it looks good. Lots of luck for however long you own it pal :chuckle:

Nice watch. Weight?

Welshwatchman 21 January 2007 03:13 AM

The Pammy certainly makes the sub look a like a seven stone weakling.

I like it !!
