My thanks sincerely goes out to TRF and Mike for providing a place to make new friends and to talk about great watches... The story... I just moved to Ft Walton Beach, FL after spending the last 3 years in Hawaii. I met Mike here on TRF and he said once i got to FL to look him up. I took him up on the offer, and we met for the first time tonight for a beer tasting at a local wine and beer retailer. They had "Cider" of all things for the tasting... not bad but not my cup of tea by any means. Mike suggested i try the Cherry Wheat Samuel Adams (beer, not cider) and i was most impressed! After a while of hanging out and talking, i mentioned to him i really like Rum more than anything so he invited me to his home for a special drink he makes called the "Sipper"... I can honestly say i have never had anything better! We spent the next hour or so enjoy our "Sippers" and talking about Rolex's... What a great afternoon/evening. If everyone on TRF is this hospitable, this is definately a great place to be. Mike has a beautiful home on the water here and we also share a love for Harley Davidsons! We will hopefully be planning a ride in the future. Again, thanks to TRF and especially to my new friend Mike for a great day here in FL. PS... we had a great sunset view from his patio on the dock... enjoy the pics and if anyone is coming to FL he said he is planning a get together this winter and would love to have more TRF members over! :cheers: :thumbsup:

Nick, I can tell you that all the GTG's on TRF are like that. Whether it's 2 or 20, every one I've been to (and that's at least a half dozen) have been great. The folks here are the friendliest around. You can't ask for a better bunch of people.

So it's no surprise that you had a good time with Mike. The surprise would have been if you hadn't. :thumbsup::thumbsup::clap:
