Just picked this up today and I'm already looking around for a second!!....the illness has gotten to me..Can anyone give me their opinion on a market value ?

IMO look on the 'bay. You will find some similar DJ's there and a price range depending on condition.

I bought a similar one from '71. They don't seem to loose much in value when they get older.

well it's a stepping stone for me....I'm trying to work my way up to a Sub! I might hang on to this one for a month or two, then sell it and add the difference for what I really want!

If I had that gem, I would at least trade out the dial to a white face, and keep it around for a few years. After you are here a while, you might start a collection (the illness), and no collection is complete without a DJ :thumbsup:.

I'm really not a fan of the white face. I was seriously contemplating switching to a Black face but I'm not too keen on altering things..just gives the future potential buyer more ground to low-ball or raise questions about the watch being "original"
