SD gaining time/Question
All -
I have had the SD for about 2 years now so I feel comfortable that it is broken in. It has been gaining time about 15 seconds a day ( I am starting to log/track the amount now) and I use the same time source. I have tried self regulating (on it's side crown up) and it helps slowing the time gain. I was wondering can it be regulated by a watchmaker and pressure tested or does it have to go back to RSC due to the special pressure test for the SD's? Or will the normal pressure test sufice as I will not be going 4000 ft any time soon :). Thanks for any and all answers! |
Any good watchmaker can regulate it...... they can also pressure test it in the normal way...
They cannot pressure test it to it's maximum depth generally, and it usually needs to go back to Rolex if you require/desire that sort of test.. |
