Anyone know how to replace a Daytona Crown?

I want to learn to replace it myself, I have the case off and can't seem to figure it out.

THANKS!

Playing around with the internals of a watch of this caliber, is not a wise choice to make unless you know what you are doing....
I'm quite a hands on guy myself and would not even try to do this. Not to mention that it should be pressure tested after being closed back up.That means a trip to an AD anyway..
I'd suggest you take it to a competent watchmaker or AD with a technician on staff and have them do it....Just my 2c.

It's a replica but I want to try and learn on it before touching a real one

Well in that case, you need to take a hammer to it!!:chuckle::agree:
Sorry but we don't discuss the fakes on these boards, and it's probably not the same tube and crown fit anyway....

I will post pics so you can see. I'm not gonna toy with the real thing until i can ruin this one.

Sorry Sleddog, I read it now and i'm aware of the rules. I wasn't trying to talk about replicas, I just wanted to practice on something that was kinda close but like you said, It wasn't.

Sorry again.

Even if you play with a toy, sorry replica watch, that doesn't mean you will learn anything.I bet an Rolex will have diffrent internals, IHMO...better save money and take it your local AD who will do quality job for you.
