Can you remove the (solid looking) links from a Jubilee bracelet?

I have a few older Jubilees (A, C, D years) that are too big, and could use a couple of links removed, however they don't have screws on thems. Can this be done?

The permanent jubilee links are not easily removed, however there are some who can do it. Michael Young at Classic Watch Parts in HK is one person able to do this as well as tighten older worn jubilee bracelets.

I've used Michael in the past for bracelet restoration. With thin wrists, I usually have to remove a few links from any bracelet I use.
