TT Ceramic Models - Please Share Yours :)

Hello all!

I just spent the weekend at a cottage with a friend who recently picked up a sub C. What a beauteous watch ;)

It really got me thinking about a TT ceramic model but not sure which way to go!

Sub C blue.. Black.. Maybe even a GMT IIc ?!

Would love to see some pics and hear your thoughts on TT vs. SS ceramic models!

Thanks guys,, cheers :)

From What I hear the tt does not have a great re-sale value, just food for thought.

TT Black SubC

I'm not really sure about the wear and tear of the gold PCLs because I don't wear the TT that much, but both TT and SS GMTc are great watches!

If you go Sub get the blue so you can also get a GMT for more variety.

Also resale is great if you buy right!!!!

I'm intrigued but I'm afraid a TT model with diamonds is likely out of my price range lol

Thanks for all the comments guys. Truthfully I am not concerned about resale value,, everything I buy is for keeps :)

Every picture I see sways me in another direction lol sometimes it's a blue sub that makes me tingle, then the black sub does the same then the SS sub does it too

Maybe more pics will help? :chuckle:

Hey Brandon:

I was not sure if I was a TT man, but ever since I bought my TT GMT it has been one of my favorites...

Reason:

TT GMT really works with everything that I wear... casual or suit!
Love the weight
Just the overall look of Gold and Steel works so well together.

Good luck with your decision...

IMHO the TT GMT is hands down the best looking TT Rolex produced. The bezel numbers as well as being gold just pops along with the green GMT hand :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

As for the resale.... YEAH its NOT too good on TT models... No matter how great of a price you get discount wise your going to lose $$$ on this one if you turn it in a short amount of time... If you buy to keep I would not give it a second thought.

Enjoy whichever one you choose Brandon, for me I have had TT and Full Gold and I am sticking with SS from now on :cheers::cheers:

I really do love mine!! It's probably the only TT that I will ever have - probably the only one I would purchase in a full gold too!! Rolex really got it right with this one...

As far as resale...If you buy from a grey dealer, you won't take much of a hit if you decide to eventually sell it...mine's a keeper though! If you buy at full retail from an AD...now that's another story :crying:

Starwalker 2 August 2011 03:03 PM

I had the hardest time choosing between the TT-GMTc, and the TT Black and Blue Subs. I felt that the Subs for some odd-ball reason looked out of proportion..but was seriously considering the Blue Sub....however, there are times when I would rather not have the extra attention....lol...and ...I finally picked the GMT, and have no regrets, it looks absolutely gorgeous and I love it!

RRGHOST1 2 August 2011 10:46 PM

I am getting the TT blue SubC first and then the TT GMT. Two of the best looking Rolex watches they make at the moment IMO.

speedo 2 August 2011 11:14 PM

the tt gmtc is stunning. not a big friend of tt watches but for some reason that watch is high on my wish list.

Hocksman 3 August 2011 01:13 AM

My TT GMTIIc, an absolute stunner of a watch. I was looking at a sub TT at first but liked the look of the larger bezel and more prominent numbers on the gmt.
