Heroic 18 vs Strap Culture
I just got my PAM 005 and I am loving it and I am looking at buying my first new strap for it. Ive been looking at a primarily black strap and have been considering either this one http://heroic18.com/product-detail.p...sub_cate_id=51 from Heroic 18 or this one http://strapculture.com/vetiermp/scvtm416.html from Strap Culture. Can anyone comment on the quality and comfort of heroic18 straps versus strap culture ones? Also if anyone has any pictures of their pams on either of the straps I posted or any similar style ones I would love to see them! Thanks!

I'd recommend taking a look at Greg Stevens Design as well.

Heroic 18 all the way!!!!
|
There are soooooooo many good ones. Enjoy your hunt! Just know that it will take some trial an error to find that "right" fit.
 |
I hv one heroic. Good value but I found mine too thick for my liking.
|
Heroics are VERY thick. VERY.
Afraid I had to sell mine. The tang buckle rode half-way up the 6 O'clock side of my wrist. If you have smallish wrists...I would NOT recommend Heroics. |
Yup - I'm with Bill. Both thick and too long for people with small (6.5 inch or less) wrists.
|
Thanks for the info so far guys. I have a pretty small wrist at just about 7in so maybe the heroic wouldnt be the best choice for me.

or this one. You can't go wrong with this one. http://www.tcstraps.com/product/MP_PAV_98.html I really like this one also. http://www.tcstraps.com/product/MP_P...rve_Black.html Here is another that is a bit cheaper and has a polished buckle which would look cool on the fiver. http://www.tcstraps.com/product/TCV_...ico_Black.html Although a brushed buckle looks fine, and it matches the crown guard. I personally prefer brushed or natural. The straps you are looking at are machine made, I prefer a nice handmade strap, it's more historic to Panerai. |
I have a couple of Bill's Heroics.:chuckle:They are the ONLY non-OEM straps I own (for now) I love how great the thickness looks with a 1950's case....:clov:

Which strap maker would you guys recommend for smaller wrists (6.25 - 6.5")?
Thanks |
