How to put SD crystal back on....

OK I have looked at my 16600 Seadweller dial with a loupe...

I noticed a small scratch at 3 o'clock (nothing to do about that) and I noticed that the laser etched coronet was not exactly at 6 o'clock :dummy:. It had a service in 2009 and it must have not been aligned perfectly....

Knowing that something is not quite right just bugs the hell out of me so I decided to make it right...

I screwed the caseback off, carefully removed the movement with dial and removed the crystal....but now I am finding it hard to put the crystal back on .

The gasket seems very hard to get off the case recess and looks transparent and hard rubber. So how does one go to fitting the crystal back on please?!

Should I just leave the gasket there and use brute force or what? Can I find a replacement crystal gasket in case I damage it :crying:?

The sea dweller is quite tough to do first put the white gasket on the crystal place on top of case put in your crystal press if you don't have one don't attemp to do this you WILL ruin or break something. Bring it do someone who has experience with seadwellers . Rik

Thanks for reply! I am finding it very difficult to pry the gasket out of the recess in the case without damaging the gasket. It seems quite brittle...can I source replacement?

I have 1 year warranty at the AD so I cannot just go and tell him to replace the gasket and fit the crystal for me :dummy:...as he will invalidate my warranty.

Besides I don't trust his watchmaker as he was the one to fit the crystal rotated (Rolex LEC not at 6 o' clock) in the first place and left a speck of dust on the dial....
