Seiko Blue Monster

The new blue Seiko Monster watch is equipped with the 7S36 23 jewel movement and the crystal is sapphire price around £150.
Like this one great value tool watch.

Nice Peter. Hmmm, Monsters in black, blue, orange and yellow. That's impressive!

Yes and the 7S36 23 jewel movement IMO slightly better, instead of the normal 21 Jewel Automatic wind Cal. 7S26.

Nice watch, Peter. You've got most of the colors of the rainbow there and the bezel is very easy to read.

Yes agree with you Ed and for the money cannot IMO be beaten.
The movement is strong and long lasting, and was made pacifically
with mass production in mind, but still a reliable strong movement as for the Bezel my preference would be a coloured insert instead of steel.

Not bad for just under NZ$400!!

I really have only worn mine sparingly, but I really like mine a whole bunch.

I would/will pick one of those up when the chance arises.

At the moment the blue dial Daren is in very short supply in the UK.

This is the first I have even heard of it, and I am not searching, but if I see one, I know I will pounce like a... well I am pretty lazy, but I will type somewhat quickly and try to buy it. :agree: :agree:

You weren't thinking ORANGE for the insert, were you? :dummy:

Not this time Ed never like plain steel bezel on sports, think thats one reasons not a fan of the Explorer 11

dman 23 October 2005 03:12 AM

So not a fan of the SS/PLY YM then Padi? :banghead:

baseballduck 23 October 2005 05:17 AM

Do I have a monster if my watch does not look like that? The bezel is black not steel, and the dial looks different. No orange second hand either.

I thought you had posted a pic before?

If I remeber it was an OM.

baseballduck 23 October 2005 01:49 PM

Nope no pics of the watch itself. I have a pic with me wearing the watch, but no just watch pics. If you do a google image search of seiko dive watches it is the third one that you see on the right. I will have pics posted eventually.
