I always here about luminox.. whorth the hype?

They're not too pricey, IMO. A couple hundred bucks for a cool looking watch with great lume that doesn't fade (if you need it). I picked one up for a travel watch. Not too pricey so if it is lost/stolen.broken, then no biggie. The crown fels o bit cheap, but o/w I 'm happy with it. There are quite a few styles and colors to choose from.

10 years and several batteries later it still works.
It been used to swim in the ocean, paint,Gone through several firearms
Training classes. It's beat up and doesn't look pretty,,,, yes
It does those gouges and specs of paint give it character.

look for a TAWATEC , they are better !
I own a E.O.Diver blue and its a good work watch.
When I have to do some work offshore I alway have the one with me.

I have a couple and think they're great.:thumbsup: Trit. lume, very strong,..if there is such a thing as a beater luminix and G-shock are at the top of the list.:cheers:

Here's mine that I bought 2nd hand. It was never worn. Now it's one of my weekend warriors. I removed the rubber strap and added a carbon fiber leather print with red stitching. I'm not a rubber strap fan, especially with the Texas heat.
