Rad or Sub

Hey boys and girls,

I got bit by the PAM bug BAD! :chuckle: I'm looking to pick up another PAM to complement my 104 and 116610 Sub C.

I don't want another standard Luminor case styling and was looking at either a Radiomir (210, 380, 183) or a Submerisble (24, 25, 243, 305) style.

What are your thoughts and opinions.
As always, pics are welcome :twit:

 John

Can't go wrong with either, really. I'd say sub so you can save money using the same straps between that and the 104 you have (unless you go 47mm).

243 or 305!

I picked Sub before I saw that you already owned another PAM & a Sub C. A Rad would also be a good fit with your current lineup. I have two Luminors and a Rad would be my next pick. Especially if it had an inhouse 8 or 10 day movement with a date and power reserve indicator.

Rad... sub looks like luminor in a way with the crown guard.

Rollie2011 15 February 2012 01:54 PM

Is the 190 still in production?

z32turbo 15 February 2012 01:57 PM

Psmith 15 February 2012 02:52 PM

Looking at Mik's pics is making me change my mind

personally? rad. but, both are great.

For me - given my wallet size - easily one of either 210 or 292.

210 - looks bloody fantastic and best bang for the buck.
292 - well - its cool, and to get into ceramic stuff, its the best entry price point in the PAM range. Plus its just so different. Makes you feel like Batman wearing that thing...

Rad gets my vote!

Nope. It was made for 3 years. G (550), H (1000), & I (500) and a tiny OOR run (6) for a total of 2056 watches.

eric23 16 February 2012 01:32 AM

I would take a Rad over a PAM Sub.

B. Doggy 16 February 2012 02:10 AM

I lean a tad toward the RAD.

Passionata 16 February 2012 02:17 AM

Depends .... 232/249 or 243/305

VetteBandit 16 February 2012 06:10 AM

Had the 183, 210 and 24. If I had to go back I would go 183. The 24 was a fantastic piece, but just a bit to tall on the wrist for me.

I like crown guard

even though i usually would go for manual wind, but in this case, i want to keep the crown guard and go for sub

rennisk 16 February 2012 07:11 AM

I have a Radiomir 183 and absolutely love it... [Well, I also love the PAM 88, 250, and brand-spanking new 114.] Like the 114, the 183 has a classic, simple appearance that you can dress up or down with the appropriate strap. The other thing it has that I can't part with is the sandwich dial. what a beautiful and classy design. If I can get some time I'll post some pictures of my "stable".
