Oh boy. This is another one of those "let's see how many TRFers will compliment my fake before someone finally calls me out.". Really?

I'm definitely not an expert in this area (verifying authenticity of Rolex watches), any of you care to elaborate how you came to this conclusion just by looking at pics?

1. Scalloped bezel edges too smooth
2. Crown guards too smooth+ crown is too flush in
3. Silver rings around the hour indices too thick

Looks mighty suspicious (translation: "FAULEX").

Many strange things already mentioned (crown guards/crown most noticeable), in addition to dial printing and a coronet that's just a bit wonky, and a rehaut that seems to be missing the requisite R-R-R printing, or has it at a scale that's clearly incorrect.

Because it looks like a cheap suit.

At first i was fooled until i read the other post that it was fake, and compared it to a real one .

1. Metal rings around the hours are to thick.
2. Lettering is off
3. Ceramic numbers are too thin.
4. Crown is to small or too sunk in.
5. Clasp seems to cheap in workmanship , not as crisp like a new dollar bill.

datewheel font is way too big

that pearl is terrible too.

All of that, plus:

-no a/r on the cyclops
- gmt-iic lugs (sub-c lugs are wider)
-bracelet is too thick (I actually wish Rolex had kept that thickness)

Wow. You guys have sharp eyes. Well done for calling this out as a fake! To be honest, I was fooled at first and I actually have one on my wrist (a real one that is).

I feel compelled to post because I really learned something from this thread about telltale indicators of fake ceramic submariners. Another affirmation of how great TRF is.

The bezel pearl is garbage...looks like plastic...crap..

I got catched by hour hand and cyclop A/R missing. Then the bezel.
Why would anyone post such pictures here? I don't get it.

Maybe trying to get feedback so they can perfect the fake for the next version? At least I hope that's the case and not that some honest guy got taken.

The apparent lack of rehaut lettering is the only really obvious mistake without a genuine one to compare side-by-side. It might be there or it might not. Hard to tell from the pics.

Not afraid to admit, I've seen much better replicas of the Ceramic than this. Whatever he's trying to improve, he's way behind the curve

The biggest tell is the hour hand. It is too fat and short.

I sure hope this fella did not pay the gen price.
