Which Pam next??
1 Attachment(s)
I recently posted about which PAM I should sell out of my current collection of 312, 292, 176 and 372. I've had a good look and in the fresh light of day and letting a little time pass by, have come to realise that they all have their plave and in actual fact give a really nice mix of historical, style and case material.
My dilema is where to go next... I'm keen to stick with Panerai and have a big birthday next year which I'd like to treat myself. I've been thinking of a 317 as I love the ceramic case, but it's a little fussy, very expensive and probably not the best value. I'm also keen on one of the more vintage PVD models as again the black case is an attraction and I've no PVD cases. Other models to consider would be the 127 and 217 or maybe some of the newer upcoming models like the 425. Thoughts or advice would be appreciated. |
Why not pick up a Destro! I have just acquired a 26k and wear it,on my left wrist like the rest of my Panerai. 2 points of a difference, DLC and Destro!

Love the straps on those... what are they of you don't mind me asking? |
I can't praise the 26 enough, it's an amazing piece. Wears beautifully.
Strap wise in the pic, 26 is on a Kostas K99 with PVD buckle, 411 is on an original Dirk with reconditionioned buckle, 372 again on a Hand made Kostas and the 000 is on another K99 with brushed buckle! Good luck on the hunt, keeping the 372 is possibly the best move you will ever make ;-) |
425 would give you good variety. 47mm Rad and no 12!
249 falls into same category. 232 is such a nice homage to the 3646..., but who knows what SIHH 2013 will entail... 233 is growing on me daily, but not a good choice unless the 312 goes. So many choices, not many bad ones! |

So did you get the 26 rather than getting the 000 PVD coated? -----> Off to check out Kostas straps and more PVD models! |

I had thought about the 232, but I'm thinking 2013 will bring similar for less money. But another Rad is the other option. Ideally I want ot make it a real special piece to mark the occasion next year. |
382?:)

The 233 would look great in your collection.

Maybe flip the 292 and get a 28L. I love this watch. But I was always scared of scratching the PVD coating. Otherwise, flip the 312 and get a 233!

233 would be nice though if anyone out there want to trade one for a 312 :chuckle: |
Tough decision hmmmm
Some thoughts, you need a Pvd luminor ha... 292 is sick, and black (albeit ceramic) but having a Pvd Pam is so historic. 28, 195, there is a 4b up for sale floating around too (well I'm classifying Pvd for all but I think 28 is dlc 372 is a keeper forever, for me, 233 is awesome but yes like your 312. May sell the 292, pck up a 380 to have a rad (it's stunning IMO I love mine) and I think best value for a Panerai, and maybe a 000/005 Pvd or dlc piece? Way too many options with what to do |

Why not rads? A rad will really fit well in that awesome collection of yours

OMG remind me never to type a lengthy response, on my iphone while on a bumpy train LOL!!!! Anyway, I would go as mentioned for a 380 if you want to keep a Radiomir in the PAMily, and go for a base dlc/pvd 000 or 005  |
