Daytona polish

Hi I recently got a ss Daytona and have noticed the polished section of the strap picks up little scratches what does everyone use to remove these little blemishes?

roadie1 8 January 2013 01:04 PM

Ignore it. It'll just happen again and again. At service time, RSC will restore it to new condition and then it starts all over.

Yep, don't sweat the small stuff or it will drive you crazy and you won't enjoy the watch at all.

If you need a quick polish, cape cod does well--- just don't over-do it! When you polish, you remove metal, but CC is pretty tame polish.

I use Cape Cod on my centre links of my TT Blue SubC and it works a treat and shine lasts for ages.

It'll just keep coming back so either live with it or brush it.

That's the problem with PCL.....they show scratches!

Just ignore it, Jamie. Unless it's seriously damaged, it gives one's watch character, IMO.

Well ended up getting this for polishing it and it worked brilliantly http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...ps5cd47f42.jpg

did you happen to take any before and after pics?

accce 17 March 2013 11:21 AM

Tape off the sides and use any metal polish. A dremal buffing wheel helps.
