This or That 372 or IWC 5004?

I know the results might be a bit skewed here but I am trying to decide between the two of these :banghead:

So what do you guys think?

I have handled the 5004 a few times and own the 372. Can't go wrong either way. it simply comes down to which one sings to you more. The PAM sings louder to me, is meaningfully less expensive, and you can use the extra $$ to build a strap collection...

ChallengerSRT8 25 February 2013 06:18 AM

372, no question.

+1 372 is about as good as it gets. If only they made a 44mm version.

dukerules 25 February 2013 08:02 AM

372 for me. Easily.

nick c 25 February 2013 08:28 AM

372

alexlt730512 25 February 2013 09:53 AM

372 for sure

How and when are you going to wear it? What else do you have in the collection.

If you work in an office environment and plan to wear it every day, I'd say the 5004 is a better choice. As a fun weekend watch - 372.

Big Pilot all day, everyday!!!!!!

Cru Jones 26 February 2013 02:24 AM

if this were 5001, i would have a harder time choosing (especially white dial with blue hands), but, between the BP and 372, definitely the 372.

372

toulouse 26 February 2013 05:36 AM

A year ago I would've said 372. Today I say BP (but I'd need to try it on first) :chuckle:

B. Doggy 26 February 2013 06:46 AM

BP gets my vote.

sphereman 26 February 2013 07:30 AM

372 no question.

but if it were between the older BP 5002 and 372? Older BP 5002 no question ;)

372 for sure

iLLGT2 27 February 2013 11:17 AM

372 no doubt

Mlpugh 27 February 2013 11:22 AM

372!

Travelller 27 February 2013 11:49 AM

I would say 372 as "at first sight", the BP's strap and crown are an acquired taste (naturally, the same can & will be said about the 372 and all PAMS in general).

For someone not as familiar with the BP, please define "old"...

Thx

5002 is on the left, while the newer 5004 is on the right

372

Although I prefer the 422

braningan 28 February 2013 08:17 PM

Bp

geekyjeff 28 February 2013 10:21 PM

My first thought is the 372 just because of my heavy bias toward Panerai right now. But the BP is a classic, so you certainly can't go wrong with it. BP would also be a nice option if you already have Panerai in your collection.

Andrés G 28 February 2013 10:52 PM

372 for sure.

drchuck72 28 February 2013 11:22 PM

I'm not a big fan of IWC so I'm biased.

372 all the way.

htc8p 9 March 2013 05:11 PM

toss up for me. they are both huge. 372 just has more soul i guess

deej 11 March 2013 01:34 PM
