Replaced 26mm with 31mm

So I bought my wife a nice 26mm Silver Jubilee Diamond Dial Datejust for our 30th anniversary but she had some issues with her eyes.. So I bought her a few other watches and they were 31 and 34mm and she just stopped wearing the 26mm .... Well over the weekend we were able to sell it and and replace it with this beauty....

Wow, what a beauty! Classic! Hope she enjoys it for many years to come!

At least it won't stay on the winder :dummy: I didn't pick it up until today and when she came home from work on her wrist it went  my guess is she will wear it for the next week at least before she starts rotating them again.

Nice watch! We don't get a lot of pics from the ladies collections. Love the 6 o'clock marker.

You're a better husband than I. If my wife said her watch was too hard to see I would have gone this route...

I hear you.... She actually had an infection in both eyes and was blind for a week or so... Both of her corneas clouded completely... They have since healed but left a scar on each.. She was wearing contacts already and the left eye has the scar in the center of her pupil... She has to wear a hard lens in that eye but is still able to wear a soft in the other.

Wow! Sorry to hear about that. I can't imagine going blind for a week. I know many people love successful lives without the sense of sight but it must have been scary nontheless. Glad to know she is doing better. And going through all that does deserve a new Rolex.
