Question for Daytona Expert
2 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I'm interested in buying a Daytona 116509 White Gold with Silver Dial. I tried one out recently at my AD and I noticed that the markers at 3, 6 and 9 are much smaller (about half of the size) of the markers of the same watch on the Rolex website. I have included pictures of both watches. I noticed the same differences when looking at some 11509's on chrono24. Can someone please enlighten me about these dial differences? Is the dial with the small 3, 6 and 9 markers an older dial? If so, I would be surprised as the AD where I tried the watch sells a lot of Rolexes so I expect him to carry only the latest models. On the other hand, the Rolex website should have the latest watches pictured as well... Or are these two different watches? Maybe I got the model nr wrong at my AD... Thanks! |
