Hi everyone. This is my first post here in the forum. I am relatively new to buying or collecting luxury watches. I was given a Tag by my brother in 2007 and has worn that since. I recently bought a Speedmaster 3570.50. Now I am considering buying a DJ from my uncle who is selling his 1995 DJ with Tapestry dial.
Here are some photos I took yesterday. There are no scratches, dings or dents anywhere. It really is like new. The bracelet almost has no stretch to it. I would like to get everyone's opinion on the dial. I am not a big fan of the tapestry dial. I would prefer a plain silver, blue or grey dial. How easy or hard is it to find one and have it replaced? How much would be the cost? Where is a good place to have that done in Philadelphia, PA and/or San Jose, CA? Thank you so much! Hubert |
