Help please

Since no one answered the thread on the same topic that I posted, here's the same question: do you send your watches for servicing like recommended every 5-7 years or don't do anything as long as it's working fine?

Really need your advice on this guys.

Thanks in advance

i haven't had to personally make this decision yet, but, i think i am more in the "if it ain't broke...." camp. by father sent his DJ for service for the first time after over 25 years....

as for your watches, i would use the manufacturer for the Sub and the 233, but, for the ETA-based watches, i would consider a quality third-party watchmaker, since such person would likely be much cheaper and quicker.

I'm in the other camp. Every 5 years for me.
I believe in preventative maintenance...just like on a car. Small price to pay.

I'm in the 'if it ain't broke' group ....

I regularly check my watches on a timegrapher. If I see an increase in errors or drop in acceptable amplitude, it's time to send it in for service. This takes most of the guess work out of this critical decision.
