if you were coming back to panerai what would you do?

Hi ristis!

just throwing an idea out there to see where it may go. so i have a pam112 and MAYBE looking to get a 2nd pam.

im leaning towards panerai than other brands because pam have different cases as say compared to rolex where sub looks the same as gmt.

im thinking of getting a radiomir. i still like the manual wind because it can maintain the thinner case.

i have narrowed down to pam 292 (ceramic), pam 337 (42mm)

i have also tried on the 372 though it is beautiful, there is no way i can pull off 47mm such a shame.

i could get another luminor but i would like a dress watch this time.

am i missing something? how bout other brands? exp1?

taking my sweet time now.

Panerai just doesn't fit the billing as a dress watch to me. Sure, a Radiomir is dressier than a Luminor, but unless you're going 42mm, a 45mm or 47mm is big hunk of watch on your wrist. As to the 42mm, I've owned a Pam 338 and just felt something was missing because of the small size.

If I were to get back into it again, I'd go for a 210 (relatively inexpensive) or a 190 again (love the movement and gold hands) for casual Fridays.

consider the pam512 before you decide ,, it is 42 mm and very very nice

I love the 292, but, from what your saying, it seems like the 512, 337 or 338 would fit the bill better?

And then there's always gold: 513, 439 and 378.

sorry i just cant take gold. titanium too it might turn to pudding on my wrist.

that is why ceramic is a good material

something is off with the 1940s radiomir, imho its like a homoerectus before fully developing into homosapiens

I say go ceramic, I have SS, TI and DLC, if I should get a fourth, I would like to get a ceramic, unless if I have a chance of getting my grail watch the 36, but seeing the price and rarety that shouldn't happen anytime soon :crying:
