For sale (or trade - what do you have?) is a rare Louis Vuitton Tambour LV277 COSC-certified automatic chronometer with a Zenith El Primero movement. This is the original sable color that LV introduced its Tambour line with and is discontinued. The watch just came back from a $1,200 routine service with Louis Vuitton in December 2013, which includes an extended warranty through December 2014. Features:
- 41.5 mm steel case - Caliber LV277 movement (base Zenith El Primero) operating at 36,000 vbh - Sable alligator strap (original Louis Vuitton strap the watch came with) - Steel deployment clasp - 50 hour power reserve - Date at 4:30 - Water resistant up to 100m - Model # Q1142 - Serial # RE XXXX Includes: Natural leather box, brown outer box, instruction manual, warranty booklet (including servicing information from December 2013), USB card with additional warranty information, and COSC certificate. I should also note that I have an orange alligator Louis Vuitton strap and a steel Louis Vuitton bracelet that I'd be willing to sell if the buyer is interested in either. MSRP: $14,500 (probably higher now given that LV increases prices constantly) Asking Price: $6,500 Shipped in US Condition: Excellent! This watch was very rarely worn - mostly for special occasions. There are a few small surface scratches/nicks which I’m sure can be polished out if you desire (note that this watch has never been polished). The movement was just serviced in December 2013 and is in perfect working order. See photos for more details.
