After a 5 month purchase moratorium, finally picked up a little somethin'...

I just realised recently that the last time I treated myself
was last year. I've been so wrapped up with work that I
guess watch shopping just slipped my mind. Well, in celebration of a particular achievement at work this past week, today I broke the dry spell.... Pics when I get home

Sort of TT Tudor? Interesting. It has to be the Blackbay then.

Congratulations, Jake! Nice reference.

Thanks, man...I was just walking around with my wife this afternoon, on the first really nice sunny day we've had in awhile, and bumped into this in the front window of a local jewelry/watch shop. The price was decent, and after I'd talked my way into a bit more of a discount, I just had to.

So, in celebration of my recent accomplishment, the culmination of 5 years' work....I now own a watch I've been eyeing on and off for two years now, and my first modern Tudor

Now for the de-stickering/sizing ritual  ... & then out for a bite to eat & see Captain America with my woman. Life is good.
