Pam 159
 

Hi friends,

New to Panerai and wanted some assistance with this model. While browsing the inventory of a well known dealer here in NYC with some friends, I came across an H-Serial Pam 159. I always kind of admired Panerais from a far but I find this model to be particularly good looking. From my research I've deduced that this model was made between 2003-2005 and was then discontinued. I believe it has the OP VIII movement (based off Valjoux 7750). Does anyone know why it is no longer made? Was it perhaps replaced by a newer model, new movement, etc? Does anyone have this model? Any and all interesting tidbits about it would be great. :thumbsup:

Also, what price should I be looking for? The case is in very good condition but the strap needs to be replaced. No box or papers unfortunately. :banghead:
