I just saw one at Traditional Jewelers in Newport beach. It is a beautiful watch. Especially from the back. Same price roughly $110k. It is number 14 of 100 I believe...

Pretty neat!

Yes my friend, they also have Harry Winston Tourbillion in the showcase

Someone will bite not me. It is a beautiful watch.

Shoot! At that price I'll take two!!!!
:chuckle:

The tourbillion is very interesting. Basically a pocket watch correction device that most say has little utility in a wrist model.
That said, they are tech. marvels. Why I like Pannys, but not this one is that the Turbo is hidden. The beauty of the Turbo, so frequently visible in dials and bridges that highlight it from the front, is hidden in this model. It's a VERY fancy p2002, but at this price there are so many others I'd rather have.
When you opt for a turbo you are in fact showing off.

If you think this feature is suited for a "sport" model then buy the Fifty Fathoms, otherwise go dress watch.

The reason why the Turbo is hidden is that the watch keeps in line with the historical models. Having seen one it looks perfect for Panerai. The watch would look out of character with it showing.

Yes, and out of my "character" to spend that type of coin for a meaningless feature in a wrist watch that you can't even see. Seems to work in the Blancpain nicely though.
Of course, best wishes to you, we all get excited about different watches. Being super expensive gets me to peek, not but to automatically lust.

It is a watch that has to be seen in the flesh. I had to choose between the tourbillon and Ferrari 024 and chose the 024 hands down. I however like the fact the tourbillon is hidden but am not willing to pay 100K+. It does work well in other watches just not Panerai.

Wow, must have been a real tough choice. Just the other day is was trying to decide between a Ferrari 430 and a Honda Element. What should I do???

Didn't think ANYONE fell for the Panny Ferrari line. I guess BT Barnum was right. Hope you like it, it's worth 399.99 on the resale market.

Yes, saw your wise ass remark elsewhere, so I tell you what I really think.

Actually it was an easy choice. 399.99? I doubt it. At least 500.01. The watch is not even out yet and there will only be 50 which are reportedly pre sold out. Who knows who cares. Re sale meaning to sell again which only matters if one sells the watch. Highly doubtful therefore irrelevant. I do not care for the F430 either, it looks like a 360 with an aftermarket kit. Performance wise different story. Ferrari owners fall for the line and most likely can afford not to flip. I do not know what a Honda Element is but I do have Ferrari pics. Its actually PT Barnum.
