2016 collection event - LOTs of pics!
 

Hi all,

Was at one of the very first events to show this years collection. The best of the lot was the 5930. Beautiful on the wrist... Young and elegant at the same time.

5327 looks like it wears relatively big (looks bigger on your wrist than the 5205, which wears very small). Was that your impression? Thanks for sharing.

Looks and feels bigger than the outgoing 5140... Not sold on it just yet. The dial still not quite perfect

How are you liking the 5524?

Loving it....the strap is super comfortable and the watch is heavy, feels solid and sits like a dream. It's hogging so much wrist time the 116655 might be toast!

Great to hear! Still not many around, I think you are the only owner on here so far.

Kind of hoping it stays that way..lol...I spoke to the AD's in Hong Kong / Seoul and Dubai last week. They all have waiting lists but only received 1 each so far. Maybe they concentrating production on Nautlus

5327 does look surprisingly big on your wrist. I love breguet numbers but that dial IMO is just a busy mess where they tried to cram too mich stuff on it

Yes. It's strange. The 5140 looked too small and this looked too big and almost like the 5123 dial.
The 5270 and the JLC perpetuals have a nice layout.

Quick question: You mentioned this was a 2016 collection event. Some of the pieces are not new releases, though. For example, was the 5270R one of the items presented (I see it has the 10:10, March 18 marketing time on the dial)? This was a 2015 Basel release. Thanks

Hey, yes it was a 2016 model launch but they didn't limit the watches there to the new ones only. They obviously wanted to show and sell as many models as they can :)
