Opinions on the 537 or 535

I was at the AD this weekend and the 537 really caught my eye. It's a bit smaller (42mm) but being a Luminor it felt perfect size-wise since I usually wear a Radiomir. I looked online though the various forums and sites and didn't see much of a following behind this model or that many listed for sale. I have a line on a decent price for a used one and right now I'm deciding between this or an OMEGA DSOTM. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the 537?

For the waffle and tuxeodo dials, I personally prefer a Radiomir or 1940 Radiomir case. No logical reason....The crown guard just seems to "fit" a flat dial better to my eyes.

So, I would look to the 627/628 or 657/658, with a preference to the 657/658, as I prefer the waffle with a base dial and tuxedo with a busier dial.

Also, even though the latter four are 45mm, they should wear better due to their thinner case compared to the 535/537.

I had 535 / just a typical thick beast Pam. I like the waffle dial / stock strap / PR on the backside. Found it to be a cuff buster so sent it on. Settled in with 1392 for now.

If price were the same would you choose a 535 or 537? I'm leaning towards 535 with the cleaner dial but I can get the 537 at the same price which seems like it has slightly more value.

@CruJones I like your suggestion on the new Rads but I'm only looking at used right now, plus I'm not a big fan of the vintage lume.

I choose 535 for the same reason, a bit cleaner. 535 needs 537 strap though.

535 I don't like the power reserve on the 537
