What is the difference between a 44 mm Luminor 1950 case from...

... the other 44 mm Luminor cases?

TIA

The case has more of a rounded look/design. Also the lugs are a bit longer on the 1950 case, and the sides of the case a bit shorter. Also on the 1950 case the case curves upward. kind of like a bowl where as the standard luminor case, the case appears more square like.

I find I like both style cases. But the 1950 case seems to curve a but more on the wrist.

Also on the 1950 cases, you have a large domed crystal. Where on the luminors you have a very slightly curved crystal.

Also the 1950s case have a larger crown guard with T.M. engraved. And the crown itself is full and rounded. Instead of a flat and depressed inside like on the luminor crowns.

Cheers.

The case on my 212 1950 case is more curved than my 111 case. They are both nice, with the luminor case being a classic but I like the domed crystal on the 1950 cases.

Thanks gents. Kind of embarrassing, but I never noticed. Not that I have seen to many. This is one of the hardest watches to find over here.
