1966 Omega Speedmaster 105.012 CB Case Pre-Moon
 

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

105.012-66 reference

249580XX serial number circa 1966 production

Excellent vintage condition case appear to be unpolished with minor signs of wear in form of small dings and scratches. Sharp and defined lugs and corners. No corrosion or pitting. CB case unique bevels on inside of the case are sharp and defined.

Dial is original, applied logo and step in excellent vintage condition. The hands are period correct and probably original. There is cracking/partial loss of tritium in the hands.

Bezel is original, "dot over 90 (DON)" and is in excellent vintage condition. Has a nice gray fade to it.

Caseback is original, stamped correctly 105.012-66 CB inside with nice outer engraving.

Bracelet is an Omega 1035 with aftermarket "516" end links and fits about a 7.5" wrist. Dated '68.

No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch runs smoothly, winds smoothly, chrono runs, stops, and resets.
