What does "TBR" means?
Hi Guys,
Day-Date 228398 TBR https://content.rolex.com/is/image/R...D&$rv55-watch$ Does TBR stand for diamond type/standard? Thanks |
I'm no expert but a quick google search turned this up.
TBR = Tessellated Brilliance Tessellate: to cover (a plane surface) by repeated use of a single shape, without gaps or overlapping |
Do not know, but it does not get any better than that watch
|
Not sure either. TBR also means To Be Released, but not sure if that is the acronym's context in the post.

There are a couple blingy-bezel Daytona models with that designation, too.

Old thread, but I found a different answer from my AD in Geneva. Remember that the references are always in French.
T: Trapèze (shape of the stone) R: Rond (shape of the stone) BR: Brillant (Bezel with stones, diamond) RBR: round diamond ex: https://www.rolex.com/fr/watches/day...9rbr-0012.html TBR: Baquettes diamonds cut in trapezoidal shape ex: https://www.rolex.com/fr/watches/day...6tbr-0002.html |
