Panerai Bezel easily scratched?

I picked up a PAM392 about 2 weeks ago. After 2 weeks of wear, I noticed that the bezel is getting scratched up pretty good. Nothing deep, just a lot of light scratches, noticeable enough for me to be annoyed/worried.

My questions:

Is this common?

Anything I should do to fix/avoid?

It's part of the life of the watch. When it is new the first micro scratches jump us to the eyes. These micro scratches will generalize and form like a patina of steel. Everything is normal.
I advise you to clean your watch with a cloth for watches. They have a very light polishing effect.

It’s common on all the watch, just be careful

yup it’s a watch, it happens. the only way to avoid it would be not to wear it :chuckle:

Not any more easily than any other watch....

Personally, I find that a Panerai looks better a little marked up (well, a 305/682/1305 bezel might bother me slightly).

"It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy and it is a big deal." :dummy:
