Have you guys timed your power reserve?

Just got finished with my test.

61hrs 45min. Lost 5 seconds!

Never wore it. Changed the positions a couple times.

Impressed.

Well done, Mik.

How many turns of the crown had you given the watch before setting it aside?

Pam 111.

I don't know how many turns. Just until it gave the pressure that tells me to stop.

I've timed my 111G and it got to around 42 hours and stop

It should be like 56 hours power reserve no?

Or I didn't give it enough wind? hmm

I just wound it until it stopped. You can pretty much tell when you shouldn't wind anymore.

We're close Mik. My 111 went a bit over 61 hrs. as well. Like you I wound it till it stopped. Mine runs about -1 sec. a day.

Not yet.

Timed my 111 this week and it's just stopped after 60 hrs and 9 mins. It was left face up in the box. Happy with that

I'm in the process of timing my 111 and checking its accuracy too. Yesterday morning I fully wound it and recorded it's time against the GMT web site. At 24 hours into the test it had gained exactly 1 second. Tomorrow evening at 6:30pm EST it will reach 55 hours, hopefully, and then some perhaps. I'll let you know the outcome tomorrow night.

MYK 19 January 2009 03:51 PM

I got upto 58 hours and wounded up, don't ask. :) Will retest it today, will wind it in 10 minutes and see. This way at 4pm GMT+3 on Wednesday (when I get off work) it would hit 55 hours and I would have all day to wait it out.

My concern however is accuracy, is seems to be loosing 5 seconds a day. Still not a decent test have I taken for it, will also do that in 10 minutes. I guess since I can't stop the seconds hand, I will see what time it is on GMT's website at precisely 9am my time and compare it with timorrow's result.

No clue on accuracy, honestly haven't checked that on any watch in over 5 years but the 233 lasted 10 days and 3 hours the only time I let it run down.

Follow up to my post on the 18th. I initially only managed 44 hours so I figured I had screwed something up and I did. I re-did the test this week and last night it stopped after 60 hours, 23 minutes and 43 seconds.
That's more like it.

Either I forgot to check before I strap it on & wear it, of want to wear it & don't want to be stuck with it stopping on me.
Maybe this weekend I will check them all.
