After waiting months, my AD finally called with the good news.

Wow! Huge congratulations on that one! That, and the 720 are my grail Panerai models. The local Boutique was able to source on of the 720 for me, so should have it in a few days.

The 721, IMO, is one of the best models Panerai has made. True to the original, as much as any modern watch can be. Especially the blued hands, anonymous dial, and the plexiglass crystal. The blued hands and plexiglass are really the icing on the cake and, in your case, the anonymous dial. As far as I'm concerned, it just doesn't get any better.

Well done and huge congratulations. Anxiously awaiting more pics!

That looks amazing! It really dresses the watch up, making a Panerai dress watch. I put a black calf leather with beige stitching on mine, and love the look. I think my next move will be the black gator as well.
