Looks like there's still room for one more .......

kcmo 5 January 2009 01:15 AM

Wow, that's a lot to choose from!

I've always liked Rolex watches, specifically the Professional series. I think no watch is more rugged and more robust and yet possess such history and lineage than the Rolex sports watches.

A few comparative shots

16700, 16710 and 116700

Sorry for the NEWBE question, But I noted that all the watches show differant times, therefore I guess they are stopped. Is there any reason you aren't using a auto-winder ?
Be Safe JIM

tonettem 10 January 2009 02:22 PM

No reason really, the 3 in the middle I keep in the vault and the others I use in rotation.

Alcan 10 January 2009 02:25 PM

Nice collection. Looks like there's an empty spot in the right upper corner. What's going to fill it?

Not sure yet and I've gone too many times thinking about what to fill that space. Any suggestions?

arhant 11 January 2009 06:04 AM

How do you keep them all happy?

ronin7 11 January 2009 06:36 AM

lost for words....:clap::clap::clap:

BGRINDEL 11 January 2009 08:00 AM

Absolutely awesome collection. Maybe a Yacht-Master to fill that empty space.

mike 11 January 2009 08:24 AM

What a stunning collection.:worship::worship: Man that is just beautiful.:clap:

Nothing wrong with that "thorn" by the way. I have one that "sticks" me as well.:thumbsup:

hugh59 12 January 2009 09:33 AM

Wow! Fantastic set! All you need is a vintage Explorer 1 Rev. 1016 to fill out that blank spot!

allmatch 12 January 2009 11:29 AM

AMAZING! :clov:

tonettem 13 January 2009 12:28 PM

Thanks guys!

Yes I've been eyeing a YM for quite sometime already but it doesn't smile at me as much as the others. Will have to check it out again.

Have you considered a bluesy?

hflee55 16 January 2009 03:02 PM

Very nice collection!

Trix 9 February 2009 08:46 AM

That is a hardcore collection!

DSJ 9 February 2009 08:50 AM

I think a TT (blue) Submariner would be a nice "completion" to your box!

tonettem 9 February 2009 10:20 AM

Yes I think a blue Sub or a Platinum YM would add a nice touch to the group. What I'm really eyeing now is a Meteorite Daytona! :agree:

Joey_V 9 February 2009 04:35 PM

A YM or a DSSD to fill the last hole... but nonetheless a STUNNING collection!
