London Rolex to meet/trade/chat

Anybody based in and around London wanting to meet to chat about Rolex, trade bits and pieces etc?

Rolex Essex 20 December 2018 07:39 PM

I’ll be interested as long as it’s on a Sunday.
A London gtg is well over due.

LPan 20 December 2018 08:26 PM

Im based in Central London Mon-Fri and North London on the weekend but can be flexible so whatever the masses say. Would be good to put faces to nametags and meet up with like minded people..

ovodunn 21 December 2018 02:51 AM

Also keen for this and have a friend who would come along

Erm from what I remember maybe 15-20. It coincided with Dan Pearce being in London during that time. It was a really fun day.

Would also be interested.

Is it a case of picking a date and a pub and turning up?
Or if a smaller crowd, perhaps a meal instead?

LPan 10 January 2019 02:50 AM

So what do we reckon guys? After work one evening Mon-Fri in central London somewhere?

randomguy 10 January 2019 03:18 AM

I will be in London January 28th for 6 nights, and would likely be available to attend if it's within my visit window.

I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Cheers gang.

Would people be interested in being part of a TRF London whatsapp group for things just like this? I seem to have a whatsapp group for everything these days....

If you do anything between the 7th and 14th of July I will be hanging out in London, by then you can take shots at me about our loss in the cricket.

I'm up for this guys if you fancy meeting for a beer.

I work in Hatton Garden (IT not jewelleries!) so fairly central.

The last London gtg organised was an exclusive VIP event. Nobody (expect those who got invited) knew if it actually went ahead.
Funny enough the organiser got the banned from the forums.

Yes, way too long. If there's ever another they are well worth it. I've been to many and even my wife says they're a blast.:chuckle:

Who would normally organise these things? A longstanding member perhaps? I'm new to the forums, but it would be great to attend a London "meet up."

I did, with the help of the locals. But I had been a part of a handful before and after the London GTG. You need to set a location, date, & time, be willing to adjust to others schedules and hope for the best.

Over time some GTGs have gotten bigger, involving more logistics. With that came some problems. My GTG participation over the years was much less problematic and always a pleasant experience.
