Trimming the strap
 
Would the Panerai Service Center agree to trim the strap on a FER 19? I don't particularly like the look of too much "overhang" and would rather not risk messing up the strap by trying to cut it myself or taking it to a local watchmaker who may or may not know what he's doing.

A strap maker could do it, but it would be easier to sell it and get one made to size.

Won't be necessary after all...my Fer 19 arrived today and it fits perfectly :thumbsup: Panerai certainly know what they're doing.
