My first Daytona!!
 

Well that was something didn’t expect, I am the classic Sub and GMT guy loving the date/cyclops feature of the modern Rolex with the nice ARed crystals, modern case with more presence and I always found Daytonas to be kinda small and missing the date date. I got a 116520 2009 V serial yesterday and I am so much in love! The way it sits on the wrist, this beautiful fascia and the chrono look, totally in love with it.. I feel that now my collection is somewhat more complete with my Batman and SubC LN

This Daytona looks gorgeous. I'm a big fan of black and white varieties.

Steel, Silver, and White Gold are my metals of choice.

Very close to getting a WG Daytona myself soon!

Is it? I know they are desirable but not that much.. anyway I didn’t buy this as an investment and I got it for $17500 which isn’t a deal but wanted this for some time to try and see how it feels. It’s a mint piece with no bracelet stretch and long clasp from 2009.. I have two daughters so a Daytona is good on a lady wrist as well [emoji4]

Thank you guys, really a game changer for me... but some of you "been there, done that!" I am sure lolol!

Very nice, as I loved the way my Daytona fit and looked but it did not get enough wrist time so I sold it (sad to say). Enjoy as I am now most comfortable with the fit and look of my YachtMaster!

You are obviously a man of great taste, a SS Daytona 116520 V serial, a superb choice, and the exact one I purchased, and 18 months later, chills still descend my spine and a smile lights my face every time I put it on.:thumbsup:

Have done the same and regretted with some previous Rolex watches that I let go but I cannot justify have more than 3 (a year ago I would not justify more than one lolol, it’s a virus!!), thank you very much, YM is a great watch that I never had but always admired!
