Individual reached out to me in an attempted scam for rolex parts.

They have been banned from other forums as well for scamming folks under this same account handle name.

I would accept the guys email address as proof alone. Whoever has to throw a bunch of letters and numbers after their first choice of email addy is either late to the game or made a burner email. IE Mr.Watches@gmail.com prolly legit. Mr.Watches1902347934734974@gmail.com, not so much.
