Proper spring bar for the 78790 clasp?
 

Tried to search it up, but it doesn't seem to appear. (Most spring bar questions are case focused) Does any one know what the reference number for the spring bar for the 78790 clasp is? Or its proper length? I saw a site sell similar spring bars but don't want to gamble, it quotes the length at 16mm but does not indicate compressed/uncompressed. Thanks!

You need to know what you are buying.

The width of the clasp is nominally 16mm, just as the width of the case lugs and spring-bars is a nominal 20mm.

If you were to buy a spring bar with either of these exact measurements, it would not engage the holes and would fall out. :cheers:

indeed, ive used a caliber to measure the spring bar on one of these clasp spring bars and it comes out to like 17.32mm, but have not found any like it even on the bay.

If you have a clasp that needs a spring bar, you can always take it into the RSC or AD watchmaker and they will put one in.
