Incoming and first Patek
 

Very excited to say that after a couple years of Rolex that I’ve entered the Patek family of watches. I love the Aquanaut!

I believe the only thing I’d change would be to add 1/2 link availability or a micro adjustment on the bracelet. Will see how it feels when outside tomorrow.

Regardless, love the watch and look forward to wearing it for many years to come!

Where are you based?

My AD says 1a cannot simply order a rubber strap. PP are supposed to be very strict about this.

An AD can easily order a black 5167 or black 5164a strap (quite common for them to have a few straps in stock). Getting the blue for 5164 (5650g original ref with it) is quite hard and green rubber for the 5167 is no longer available. Should also be able to order the deployant clasp as my AD just received one I requested so I can change from the bracelet 67 whenever.

If your AD wont order one, just call up another and someone should be able to help you

Congrats! I love the 5167 on the bracelet. Originally I purchased mine on rubber and found it to be too light. My AD got me a bracelet and although it was quite expensive I wear it a lot more. Plus, I think the bracelet just looks cool too.

Congrats! The 1.5 link made the fit just right for me. It’s a shame that they don’t just include one in the original bracelet. The rubber strap is awesome too.

I really like the lightness of the Rubber strap plus my other daily - a WG Sub - is on a bracelet so I wanted something different. When they cut the rubber make sure it is not too tight as that is what you will be stuck with. Mine is a little loose, which I prefer anyway.

I think getting the strap is easy after getting the bracelet version...but I've heard the clasp needed for the rubber strap will cost you another £1000 (UK) or so from the AD. Anyone able to confirm?
