Can I ask for a discount on a Limited edition GS?
What has been your experience with discounts on GS?

I typically get 15-20% in local AD. But the boutiques in Japan are different story

Sure, some may do it. My last one they did not, but I didn’t really care. I asked. They said no. I bought it anyways. Still a great deal for an amazing watch at MSRP.

Got a SBGA413 with no discounts. They said no when i asked.

I've gotten a discount every time I've asked, even in Japan (though if you're not Japanese it's going to be an uphill battle.) However, even without a discount, I still would have purchased the watches anyway. In terms of what you get for the money, Grand Seiko at MSRP is a fair asking price.

Hong Kong ADs will give you 20% off at least.

I bought a GS last month and once I'd decided on the model I wanted I politely asked if any discount was available for cash ( credit card ) it was and it was quite decent. :thumbsup:
