PAM Quick Change...

WOW... Picked up the 233 and the 88 and I can't believe how nice the Quick Change system is. What an ingenious little system. Have to hand it to PAM. Also, the Deployant is nicer than I thought it would be. Very cool!!!

I did take some pics tonight - they stink... Embarassed to post them. I will give it another shot tomorrow. If they are no better - I'll post the stinky ones... Need some Tips from you guys... Anybody have pics of their lighting??

My thoughts too, wow!

Gus, let's see the PAMily!!! :chuckle::chuckle:

I have been using natural light for now with flash off. I have been placing the watches on the floor by a window or the window ledge. This is producing the best results until I break down and get a light box. If you have a removable flash, I saw some great pics where the poster was aiming it at the ceiling and the light would bounce back at his watches...came out excellent.

Congrats. Yup, natural light, overcast is best. No flash, macro mode on camera. Just take a ton of pics. One or two will turn out perfect. Trial and error.

great deal..

great duo there !!.. 217,233,88, WOW :thumbsup::thumbsup: now get them posted..

the best pic;s i (used to) make is with the DSLR - put a 120MM lens on it and either a spot above it or natural light, then i zoom in on the watch as yer not close you do not get the lens or other reflections on the watch as the polished steel is a killer for that.. not to mention to get the dust off..

however since my dog chewed my lens up , she tends to eat anything that i have an interest in.. i-pods, remotes, harddrive ... im left with my wifes casio .. they should stick with calculators.. :bartmoon: my 18-55 / and 70-300 lens just does not do the trick..

GBJIV 14 April 2009 03:20 PM

Thanks Niels... Okay stupid question... my 70 - 200 is not Macro... Do you think it matters?

Okay... Working on posting the crappy pics with better on the way...

Thanks all.
