i'm wondering why the winding crown is rolex from the 70s,... it has a ___ under the crown emblem, shouldnt it be . . ???

and abt the buckle, anyone can tell me whther this is gold plated or solid gold? it says PLAQUE G, but has a hallmark "18K" at the sides,...

maybe i should look for a 60s buckle, with the no-butt-crown

I know very little about the vintage models. That said, the crown looks correct to me. I don't know about your buckle though.

i wonder why the vintage 1005 are both called 1005 for the 14k and the 14k/ss tt.
