PAM 24 where it belongs - at Sea

Well, kind of. My dad was in town this weekend. We were driving around downtown and spotted the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier that was in service for more than 40 years and was decommissioned in '92 I believe after serving in the Gulf War. We took the tour....here are some quick pics along with my new strap (the new style rubber strap - I think it looks great on the 24, plus its outrageously comfortable).

Me and dad:

And some shots of the new strap:

and a lume shot for fun - not that great

and finally, this is a 30 foot tall statue of a scene that you all may remember...it's apparently traveling around the country...it was just in front of the Midway

I love it Michael... Great pics - So nice to spend time with the family and San Diego is beautiful...

I spent the night on the Midway a couple of years ago with my son's Cub Scout Pack. I had 2 hours of "patrol" in the middle of the night. Me and another leader walked the deck and sleeping floors of the inside portion and hanger. The ship was quiet - we walked the route for 3 hours with just flashlights. The stories that ship could tell if it could speak. I was grateful for all that had served on her. It was a little bit creepy too!

If you're in San Diego the MidWay is a must do
Takes most of a day

Never liked the Sub line till I saw one in PVD
now I MUST have one!

If anyone sees a worn abused but running solid Sub at a good deal PLEASE
Email me! This is a project I want to do very soon!!!

It really sets the watch off nicely and I do not usually go for aftermarket PVD on watches that dont come with a factory pvd option

Wow, that sounds crazy (and a little creepy, haha). What an awesome experience!
