has panerai won you over??
how many people here have sold all their rolex and now only own panerai??
Never. Not in a million years. Even longer. Perhaps forever. No. Nope. :read: :twit:
I actually started with more Panerai and switched my favor to Rolex. I still enjoy wearing all the Panerai I own but the Rolex tend to get more wrist time.

Bought my first Panerai in 2001. Still only have one. I like them, but they would never be my only brand.

And for Date 1500, my Grandpa gave it to me. Never flip too. |
I traded my Submariner away for my PAM 24...but I'd consider the new SS in 2010 as long as there are NO polished center links!! I think there's room for both - but I think I might prefer the size and look / feel of Panerai.
I started off buying Panerai in 2002, then bought some Rolex Models, now am happy to sell all my Rolex and stick purely to Panerai and my Heuer Carrera Re-Ed.

P.S : I'm still keep my Sub ND, for now...
I love both!!!!
For now, I love only Panerai, but still respectful with Rolex.
I enjoy the variety of both brands and would like to add a few others to the mix down the road (Ulysse Nardin, IWC, Hublot, BR, and a few more)
I did flip an Exp II for a PAM Zero so I guess my loyalties lie with PAM...for now. :chuckle::chuckle: http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ier/Sub3-1.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...r/CIMG2012.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l2...lipboard02.jpg |
nope. no flipping here. i buy a little bit of both. one pam, then one rollie, then on pam, then one rollie.....so far, it's rollie 8 vs pam 4.
i admire and respect the panerai but none have truely caught my fancy yet.
I have a PAM48 and thinking of buying a PAM88 in the future. But I would never let Rolex go for Panerai.
