I've been getting many PMs from obvious scammers (new accounts, sent me photos from Google search, photos showing horrible Photoshop skills, etc.). But yesterday I was very happy when I received what I thought was a real offer from a real member of the forum, pennydanny. The message looked legit, asked for my email to send me pictures of his watch. I replied with my email and waited. Checked my email today and got nothing. Now I see that pennydanny's account has been banned. Looks like the message wasn't legit after all. Has his account been compromised?
