Anyone have thoughts on PAM914?
I will be looking at one in the coming days. Considering purchase..ll

914 looks like a winner to me. Very sharp watch.
|
I think it looks nice.

It is one of the best current Base models. Note that the latest version (V model year) comes with the solid case back. So if you prefer the transparent one go for earlier versions (T model year).

I went to look today -‘almost bought - but stopped.
Something didn’t click. Not sure what … fantastic watch… |
Got a 915 a few months ago (adds the small seconds to 914) and absolutely love it. Wasn’t sure at the time as I hadn’t seen in the flesh, but happy with dial and how looks w a variety of straps. Add in the 8 day movement and felt there was a lot of value there.
Hopefully these signal the push to have a sandwich option on even the most base of models. |
Well - I'm stilll thinking about the 914. The lugs did not overlap my wrist, but I still had trouble adjusting to the 44mm. The sales reps were pretty blunt, it was NOT oversized - and I actually trusted them. I was pretty clear that I'd buy a submersible. The 42mm fell weirdly small on my wrist. ...sigh.... I'm a bit frozen in place. Balancing this against an Omega 300m.

Gotta buy what talks to you. Given that choice I’d be all over the PAM.

the 914 looks like a great piece

I think the base logo eta pams are the most classic and also offer the best value
