Real or fake Rolex Geneve Quartz?
 

Hello, newbie here! I have found this Rolex watch at my mom's house. It is a real Rolex watch or a fake one?

I don’t think it gets much more fake than that, somebody didn’t even try with this one. Perplexing.

did grandpa pass it down to mom? treasured family heirloom perhaps? would love to hear the backstory on this stunningly legit fake Rolex.

I don't have a fascinating story for this, sorry. My mom's passed away a few months ago and only this week i had some courage to enter her house and check all the boxes. I found some bracelets, watches, neckles, etc.

On of the boxes had this "beautiful fake" Rolex watch. I made some research (google) but i didn't get much information (and now i know why).
